山口大学グリーン社会推進研究会バイオ・リサイクル部会の令和4年度第2回セミナーを開催しました
2023年2月28日（火）13:30から17:00まで山口大学グリーン社会推進研究会バイオ・リサイクル部会令和4年度第2回セミナーが開催されました。
本セミナーはハイブリッド形式（農学部2階大会議室での対面とWebexウェビナーによるオンライン配信のハイブリッド）にて開催され、29名（対面15名とオンライン14名）を超える参加をいただいた。また、今回は山口大学中高温微生物研究センター環境微生物部門セミナーとの共催として行った。冒頭に部会長の今井教授から開会挨拶があり、中高温微生物研究センターの外国人若手研究者招へいプログラムにより今井研究室に滞在している3名の若手研究者が一般講演を行いました。
タクシン大学のEdy Kurniawanさんから「Medium-chain fatty acid production from dark-fermented palm oil mill effluent and ethanol by microbial chain elongation」と題して、コンケン大学のNapapat Sitthikitpanyaさんから「Valorization of sugarcane leaves co-digestion with microalgal biomass for the production of biofuels and value-added products under the circular economy and zero waste concepts」と題して、マヒドン大学のSureewan Sittijunda先生から「Biohythane biochemical and fertilizer pellet production from a co-digestion of vinasse and spent brewer yeast cells」と題して一般講演をいただきました。
続いて、山口大学中高温微生物研究センターの佐藤悠先生から「陸域地下圏に眠る微生物ダークマターの全貌解明に向けて（Toward a full picture of microbial dark matter in the terrestrial subsurface）」と題して特別講演をいただきました。
いずれの講演も大変興味深くまた社会実装に繋がる研究や最先端のゲノム解析技術を駆使した研究であり、多くの質問があり大変盛況でした。最後に中高温微生物研究センター長の阿座上弘行先生から挨拶をいただき閉会しました。
